Pharma Connect exists to take the friction out of how people get their medicines, how pharmacies run day to day, how pharmacists and technicians find work, and how distributors reach the pharmacies that need them - in one place, built for Jamaica first.

The problem we started with

Finding out which pharmacy actually has what you need usually means phoning round. A pharmacy losing cover at short notice means calling contacts one by one. A prescription moves on paper, and whoever collects it is a matter of trust rather than record.

None of that is anyone's fault. It is what happens when the people in a sector have no shared place to see each other. Pharma Connect is that shared place.

Find a registered pharmacy near you, see what it stocks, send a prescription ahead, and say who else may collect it for you.

If you run a pharmacy

List what you stock, receive prescriptions, find locum cover at short notice, and order from distributors already on the platform.

Hold a verified profile, find shifts and permanent roles, manage your own calendar, and invoice for the work you do.

How we handle your information

Health information is the most sensitive thing most people will ever put into an app. We treat it that way. Industry standard encryption has been implemented across Pharma Connect and who may see what is enforced by our backend infrastructure.

We handle personal data in compliance with Jamaica's Data Protection Act, 2020. You can ask for your account and the documents you uploaded to be deleted, and permission you have given - such as letting somebody collect your medication - can be withdrawn at any time.

What is Pharma Connect?
Pharma Connect is Jamaica's digital pharmaceutical ecosystem. It connects pharmacies, licensed pharmacists and technicians, distributors, and patients - covering prescription management, professional staffing, and product distribution in one platform.
How do I submit a prescription?
Create a free patient account, choose a verified pharmacy, and upload your prescription securely from the Prescriptions section of your dashboard. The pharmacy will review it and update the status as they process your order.
Is my health data secure?
Yes. Prescription files are stored privately and encrypted, access is strictly controlled, and messages are encrypted at rest. We comply with Jamaica's Data Protection Act 2020 and follow GDPR-equivalent safeguards.
How does a pharmacist or technician get verified?
Sign up as a professional, complete your profile, and submit your licensing details. The Pharma Connect team reviews and verifies your credentials before you can be booked or apply for jobs.
Who can post and apply for jobs?
Verified pharmacies and distributors can post positions on the job board. Verified pharmacists and pharmacy technicians can apply. Patients can browse the board but cannot apply.
What's the cost for using the platform?
To create an account and use the platform is free for everyone.
